DYNGUS.DAY is the definitive digital home for Dyngus Day culture worldwide. Cleveland-rooted and globally aware, we celebrate the centuries-old Polish tradition of Śmigus-Dyngus — Wet Monday — the Monday after Easter.

What started as a splash of water and a tap of pussy willows in medieval Poland has evolved into one of the greatest post-Easter celebrations in the United States. From the 45,000+ revelers at Cleveland's Gordon Square Arts District to Buffalo's legendary Polonia District parade to South Bend's politically-charged festivities, Dyngus Day brings communities together with polka music, pierogi, kielbasa, and a whole lot of water.
